We can reach any data in any subject with graph search on Facebook, can see our profile videos shared on Twitter, Foursquare recommend us the newly opened restaurants, participating in discussions according to our interest on LinkedIn, Google+ users are increasing, advertisements on Pinterest is determining our preferences...

So, the fact that each passing year becomes longer, more exciting, sometimes more complex, sometimes obscure but always open to explore.

2013 came full of innovations. Social media in our lives is changing the expectations of consumers. We also wanted share customer's expectations in a changing world making a call to the future.


I'm Online, You're Online, They're Online

  • The recent economic crisis has decreased our confidence in the banks. People are no longer wanted to manage their own money. Banking need to undergo on a personal system. This is a symptom of increase on the need for e-book applications in the banks. We have expectations to switch 'cash' to a digital wallet and mobile banking applications.
  • Internet users are increasingly socializing and becoming mobile. Because social media has become a reflection of our lives. For example, we have been more using smart phones than computers and we are sharing our instant messages with phones. Therefore, we have expectations to be adapted to mobile applications from marketing strategies, promotions, content of campaign.
  • We want to share our satisfaction, experience on a product. This situation has a significant impact on brands for their marketing systems. In a short period, the consumer will be the marketer. Therefore, we will need more of interactive applications that allow communication between the brand and the customer.
  • Today, everyone have at least one social media site account. So, social media sites have a very large user data. As this data increases; it will be difficult to control. In the future, 'Data Management' will become more important.
  • At least one user in 3 social media network says; instead of connecting the customer representatives with the phone, they prefer to reach customer service via social media. Users think that this is a faster way. Brands, providing customer support on social media will be more preferred by consumers.

 

The world is developing with globalization. It's becoming more technological with those developments. Future will be to more creative, more consumer-centric, more visual, more intelligent, more social, more mobile. Many years ago, as Pasteur said "Fortune favors the prepared mind".
